Wii Version

I'm sure this has been asked already. Hell we (NWR) even asked Gabe in an interview and he didn't deny the possibility. Torque also runs/will run on Wii.

Should I hold off purchasing this because of the possibility?

Here's why I'm wondering... I still don't have a 360. I do plan on buying one this year at some point but I was hoping to wait for the rumored hardware revision and/or price drop. I also would rather play this on a console on my TV...

What should I do? :)

Damn i really like Ferrari, but they are letting the fans down because other car companies sell more cars than them!

Well if you don't have a 360 and want to play it on a console it looks like the decision's already been made for you.

Until the size restriction is increased, the game will not be going to WiiWare. Sorry.

How far over the restriction is the game?

In fact, what is the size restriction on WiiWare titles? Have you discussed the situation with Nintendo at all?

If that information is not out there already, I can't share ;) Yes, we have talked with Nintendo and I am sure both sides would love to figure something out but it is just not possible at this time.

Rumor is that the size limit is 43 MB.

Microsoft says no new hardware revision

Technically it speaks of 2009, but I doubt they're pumping out a new one in the next 7 months

PaleZer0, have you ever used an S-video cable to run video to your TV? I know it's not the best option, but doing that and some rearranging to your keyboard/mouse should do the trick inexpensively. What's your setup like?

Wow, just 43 MB? Most casual games theses days are 50+ MB.

Well it does make sense given that the Wii only has 512 MB of internal memory, and some of that will be used by Virtual Console games, saves, new channels, etc. Here's hoping for USB hard drive support!

Okay, on the 360 price drop/hardware revision, I have a source at MS that says there will be a price drop around xmas, which will come a few months after a hardware revision. It's not getting smaller, but the internals will be different (how, he won't say).

There will be no blu ray drive for the 360 (and I highly doubt a motion sensor)

Believe what you want. I have a trustworthy source who calls bullshit when he sees it, and the 360 Blu-ray drive is bullshit.

That's wouldn't be necessary if Nintendo would pull their heads out of their asses and make it so you could access channels that are saved on an SD card. It's a pain in the ass to have to swap games around all the time.

Ding ding, you win! I remember I put my SD card in to help manage some storage and quickly realized that you couldn't access stuff from the SD card. I can't believe Nintendo did that.

I'm sure Nintendo will likely announce some way overpriced proprietary peripheral to increase your storage at E3 that will be available by Christmas.
