Wireless network apps for Mac, also ones for Windows?

I know there's things like KisMAC and iStumbler out there, but are there any other programs? Next week I'm giving a presentation on wireless applications on Macs and their equivalent Windows programs (the only one I know of on Windows is Wireshark, which isn't even wireless). I'm looking for programs that can gather data on wireless networks (just basic stuff), but I'm not sure what to search for on Google. What do you guys know about?

Mac fact for your presentation: the Airport card (that provides the wifi capability in the Macs) cannot perform "packet injection," meaning a Mac cannot feasibly crack a WEP key or otherwise attack networks it cannot connect to (without a third-party wireless network adapter that can).

Here's a Mac wireless trick. Hold down the alt/option key and click the wireless symbol in the menu bar, to show additional information about the access point you are connected to (such as the router's MAC address and the signal strength as an RSSI score where 0 is perfect).

Here's a built-in way to sniff wireless traffic on a Mac. Open "Terminal" and type "sudo tcpdump -i en1 -e" followed by the administrator password, where "en1" is the wireless interface. en0 is usually the ethernet interface.

Along with that, you can change your wireless card's MAC address (until the next reboot) by running this command: "sudo ifconfig en1 lladdr NEWMACADDRESSHERE"

Here's another couple of wireless network stumblers:

    Airmoose: http://macapper.com/2007/09/02/airmoose-stumble-upon-some-internet/
Its distinguishing feature may be that it allows you to auto-join open networks as they are encountered.

    AirTrafficControl: http://www.spintriplet.com/atc/
This one is a widget for the Dashboard.

Awesome, Fristle, those should be helpful. Now I just gotta find a way to compare everything.
