The L button on my DS is no longer registering while playing TWEWY, nor pictochat (the only other option I have, as everything else is packed up for a move).
I have never tried this, but remember reading it in the PAX train supertrip thread of all places. Try it.

- A. If your L button on your DS is acting up, form a seal around it with your lips and blow like it was an old NES cartrigde. Ahh, yes, the classic voodoo! AND IT STILL works like a charm.
