    I was not, I ran and thus survived. It was Fallout and Mint and some others who felt the wrath of the horsie then people ran for the door and 1 or 2 more felt the wrath of the untanked Attuneman.

    man so guys I am leveling a lock alt on the side and I've gone affliction so far.


    I put the points into making corruption instant but honestly it seems like I get an insane amount of resists should I get supression instead?

    The other talents in Affliction are just so good, I could only ever put points in Suppression when I had extras.
    The best solution may be to stick to fighting equal-level monsters.

    yeah shit like that happens in leveling for any class really

    it's an extra bitch if you're a nub warrior and you do no damage for 15 seconds because all your shit gets parried/dodged/misses and the mob starts critting you so hard your something something

    well suppression won't really do much against lower level targets
    something 3 levels lower than you has a 1% chance to resist
    something 2 levels higher than you still only has a 6% chance to resist

    since you can't reduce the resist chance below 1%, even 3 points in Suppression is overkill for levelling
