Well, I've recently been challenged to a Guilty Gear tournament. Guilty Gear XX Accent Core for the Wii. This, along with Star Soldier R, pretty much requires me to get an arcade stick. I've been avoiding it for so long, because they're pretty damn expensive. But I have to bite the bullet.
A few quick questions:
1> Is the Hori Fighting Stick for the Wii wireless, or does it connect via GC port?
2> Is the Hori Fighting Stick compatible with Virtual Console games?
3> Is the Hori Fighting Stick compatible with WiiWare games?
4> Is there any way I can use some type of converter to use my Wii stick with my 360?

Hi, Jack!
This is related, so not worth a new thread. It's just something I've always been kind of curious about.
Are there sticks you can buy that allow you to reconfigure the button layout? So I feel like playing some Mortal Kombat 3, I can have the 2-1-2 setup. Then I want to play some Street Fighter 2, I can change it to 3-3. Do these exist? Or is there a feasible way to make them?
Well Carcass it really depends, Mortal Kombat's layout no (Its a pretty unstandardized layout) but with my custom stick and even a Hori Real Arcade Pro you could very easily switch out the buttons you weren't using and put plugs into them.
So you could have a 6 button setup for Street Fighter or a 4 horizontal for SNK games or 4 square for tekken or even the upside down U for Guilty Gear but you would have to open the stick up and disconnect the buttons and put plugs in when you wanted to switch then use the button config to set it up.

No, I'm talking about the stick itself, like you can physically move the buttons around.
I've heard of some that do that, but couldn't tell you off the top of my head.
