Possible computer virus.

I wake up today to find my computer completely different than I left it. There is no start menu, just a white line at the bottom. Right clicking doesn't show that it has been merely hidden. I also notice I'm in windows classic view, and properties no longer lists xp view as an option. No USB devices work, neither does my CD drive or speakers.

What are my options? reformatting? What do you guys need to know to help me out? :(

    Time Machine virus. Sends you computer back to Windows 3.11

    Try going into safe mode and seeing what happens. If you can get there then run a virus scan.
