The bright red hurts my eyes! I mean that literally, not in a rudely-joking way.
It didn't catch my eye at first but... now that I'm looking at it there's something odd about the line going down her stomach. How it curves to our right and then back to our left as it goes down. I get the feeling it shouldn't do that so much. Are you trying to show her stomach is totally flat/goes inward a little? Because at her stance I think it should be going down a bit straighter, or even curve a little to our left. The shield blocking off part of her hip may be throwing me off, though.
You know man ... ive been seeing your stuff now on and off for a few years and what always makes me smile is that you never forget to toss in some extra details ... i love your armor etchings etc
Thanks for the crits guys. Fix'd the stomach on the 1st one and tweaked the sheild a bit.
I cant for the life of me see how the 2nd is crosseyed. Unless you dont see the red as her pupils.
Her eyes are pretty slanted though, ill give you that.
Something to do with her left (our right) eye. White space is currently on the right and in conjunction with the other eye having white space on the left, gives the feeling like she's trying to cross her eyes. Maybe just try tweaking the position of that white space from the right to the left (near the bridge of nose instead of away) or filling it with the gray iris or something.
I didnt see the crosseyed part at first but I understand now ...
Her right eye ... the one to the viewers left is looking more or less straight ahead based on the position of the red dot ...
but her left eye ... to the viewers right ... is looking down and to her right ... based on the curve of the eye and the position of her face the pupil should be on the outside edge of the eye and there shouldnt be any white space between the edge and the pupil ...
in this position both eyes should not be drawn the same in that her right eyes pupil should be surrounded in white as it is more directly looking at the viewer where as her left eye is curved at an angle that should only display white on the inner side ...
if that makes sense ...
blah ... simply put .. if you move the red dot to the right a bit youll see the difference
Dang! Well, to my untrained eye, it looks like you've got a good sense of anatomy, and the body forms look solid and three-dimensionally plausible. I LOVE the reflected red light on the body and shield in the top one. That subtle touch really makes her fit into the scene.

I would have to agree on the stomach though. Probably should hit up some refs for that.
(and the 2nd girl does look a tad cross-eyed)

I hope that makes sense.

Am I alone in thinking that the top line of the shield is a little off?
