Gods and Mortals Phalla
The Elder God is dying and the greater gods are going to have a good old battle of succession. The gods have decided to risk the lives of the villagers at the base of their mountain rather than fight each other. Each god has chosen a villager (or group of villagers!) and will pit his champion against the champions of the other gods. Once a villager has been chosen by a god, he is under the protection of that god and no other god can affect him.
The Elder God approves of this challenge for his throne and has pledged to elevate the mortal who wins the game to the status of lesser god, raising him above his people and onto the Sacred Mountain. He has also descended the mountain to alert the villagers that they have become pieces in a greater game of the gods (he unfortunately killed the Village Septon when he possessed him to deliver the news).
The dark twin gods want to rule and use the combined power of the Sacred Mountain Gods to scour the world and destroy what they deem unworthy (nearly everything!).
The trickster god is enamoured with humans and loves infuriating his fellow gods, especially the vile plans of the dark twins; he does not care if he rules but works to ensure that humans live.
The quiet god wants to rip the barrier between the living and the dead and flood the world with the souls of the departed so he can spread his influence to the living.
The rest of the gods, unable to fight the twins on their own, have put aside their differences and banded together in order to prevent the evil twins from ruling the Sacred Mountain.
The Pantheon:
- Elsaan, the Snake - A dark god, twin to Artol.
- Artol, the Raven - A dark god, twin to Elsaan.
- Mewin, the Owl - A wise god, all-knowing and sad.
- Hin, the Smith - The strongest god.
- Luko, the Monkey - A trickster god, intrigued by humans.
- Gunto, the Fox - A greedy god, shunned by the other gods.
- Syl, the West Wind - A quiet, forgotten god.
- Uil, the Rising Sun - The light god, holiest of the gods.

Please vote in Red and retract in Lime. Retractions are not necessary (as in, if you make two votes, your latest vote counts), but they are handy and helpful, so I would recommend them.
If you have any public clarification requests, please post them in Orange.
The standard rules apply, including the ban on anonymous contact (so if the person you are talking to does not know it is you, you are breaking this rule) and the ban on screenshots/forwarding PMs to players. You may, of course, paraphrase as you will. Also, there is to be no communication with/amongst the dead until after the game is over.
Please sign up in any colour/style you want, so long as I can notice it. Sign-Ups are scheduled to last until Monday at 11pm EST but will go, at the latest, until Tuesday at 11pm EST. That will be when the game starts and the "Night" will end every night afterwards at 11pm EST.
Activity is highly recommended and greatly encouraged. There are no hard and fast rules for judging inactivity (it's up to me), but please make an effort. If you do not think you will be able to commit the proper amount of time to this game, please do not sign up. Become a reserve if you're unsure--they're always welcome.
All actions and clarification requests should be PM'd to LaOs.
