Tetanus?

I just cut myself on a rusty nail from a board that had been sitting outside for some time. The wound was deep enough to cause a little bit of bleeding.

I'm 21 years old. I received a tetanus shot 4 years ago, and as far as I know, am up to date on all of my immunizations.

What do I do?

    You're fine. The vaccine is good for 10 years.

    If it was deep, I would still get it looked at. Or at least clean it REALLY REALLY REALLY well. Tons of crap can get into you from rusty metal.

    It was a pretty shallow cut, and I cleaned it out with soap. It sounds like I'll probably be OK.
