Anybody still play Shadowrun?

A friend is selling his games and offered me Shadowrun for $20. I really enjoyed the demo but felt $60 was just too much. Is there enough of a base left to enjoy it?

    So...maybe?

He's also selling Crackdown, PDZ, and Splinter Cell: DA. I've played all three but never beaten them.

There's still a fairly strong community for Shadowrun (last I checked) so if you can deal with them and like competitive gaming then get it. I have no first-hand experience (only played DA on OXBox) but apparently the 360 DA sucks.

Just so we're sure, this is the 360 version right? Because the PC version was pretty much a non-starter.

Of course, you can still play multiplatform I suppose. Although from what I understand you'd be the only one there, and at a guess people would either try to farm you for achievements or get all "console war" on you.

Man, I had some great times playing Shadowrun with some folks around here. It was a great unique game, and could have really benefited from lower pricing and more support like DLC.

    CoD4 > Shadowrun > Halo 3 > GTA 4 > Gears of War

    In terms of multi.

Shadowrun was ace. I hear that people spam the Troll + Sword combo, and that most players are too dumb to get around it, so that pretty much kills it for me.

    Hint:
Rifle + those EMP grenade things + that spikey damage magic thing = Death to trolls.

Alrighty, he's selling me all four for $50. Thanks for the advice everybody!

If anybody wants to through down on some Shadowrun multiplayer, my Live gamertag is "neuton".

Slightly off-topic but was the 360 version of Splinter Cell: DA any good?

A buddy of mine still has it. I'll see if he'll loan it to me.

Well, the OP did after all mention that he was going to get more games than just Shadowrun from his buddy.

360 DA does not have co-op.

    OXbox version did.

Dammit... I would be so on this if
    A) my gold account didn't lapse (not like I played online much anyway)
    and
    2) I didn't already box my copy and put it into storage.
