The Wii Code-What the heck is it?

Hey all, how are ya? I'm new to the forums and I had a question I was hoping you guys could help me with. In the profile, it mentions something called the "Wii Code" if you want to talk to people on your game system, but I am sorry to say, I have no clue what they heck that means? Is it supposed to be the name of your Wii system or what?

    It's basically like the online Friend Codes but it lets you exchange messages across Wiis with other people. You can find your Wii Code in the Address Book section.
