Optional Backstory: So in the next week or so im stocking up on reading material for the summer and i noticed on one of my bookshelfs the small collection of redwall novels that I have, and have a desire to read maybe a few more just for nostalgia's sake. The ones i have (in order of publication) are:

Redwall
Mossflower
Salamandastron
Martin The Warrior
The Long Patrol
The Legend of Luke
Lord Brocktree

However im not looking to go crazy, the target is three more max of ones which are considered good of the ones i do not have already, thanks in advance for any recommendations.

TL;DR: Look at the above list and suggest up to three additional redwall novels which are worth checking out (don't really feel like taking crapshoots with the rest of the series).

ahh man, salamandastron...what a book, nothing quite like badger moments...problem is you seem to have all the best ones there...wouldn't want to sully the experience. Great books though, lapped them up when i was younger.

Ah man, I remember these. They were good fun. I picked up one of the recent ones for nostalgias sake as well... uh... hmm... from my couch I can see Taggerung and Loamhedge on my bookshelf along with some of the other ones you mentioned already.
From what I can remember Loamhedge had a badger with a longbow who was being badass and going on a quest for vengeance.

What's the name of the one with the like ferret kid they raise in Redwall abbey and then he goes all traitor fest because he's a ferret or something? That one was good I think.

Shazkar, you're thinking of Outcast of Redwall. It was pretty good the first two times reading it.

I think the best out of the series is the original and Lord Brocktree. Legend of Luke is good, if only for the second part. If you want to get Loamhedge, make sure to read Mattimeo first so that you're primed on the backstory.

Actually, the only ones I personally disliked were The Bellmaker and Marlfox, and I haven't read the latest two (Eulalia and High Rhulain).

The best one was that one that started with a T that had an otter on the front of it. I think it was called Taggerung? I can't believe I remember this stuff. I think it was the last one I read, I remember loving it immensely.

    I don't think I was a fan of Salamandastron, can't remember.

Hmm... you've already listed my favorites (Mossflower, Long Patrol, Brocktree). Let's see...

    I'd recommend:

The Outcast of Redwall (Sunflash the Mace is my second favorite badger after Brocktree.)
The Pearls of Lutra (Sailing stories are always awesome.)
    Taggerung (Otters are awesome.)

But really, I've never met a Redwall book I didn't like, so you're probably safe just closing your eyes and picking a book at random.

The story for this one was also packed with riddles, more so than any of the others. Only the original Redwall matches this book for riddle-related awesomeness. Characters aren't nearly as good in Pearls, though.

I agree to some extend, but it does introduce some characters, such as Tansy and Arven, who are in at least a couple of other books.

In fact, there's a whole group of books that are roughly sequential, but I can't for the life of me remember which ones. I know Pearls is one, and I think Long Patrol might be another, but I can't remember any more. I know Cregga Rose-Eyes is in like 5 different books though, so they have to be fairly sequential.

Although it is not a novel nor a Redwall book, perhaps I can recommend this very cute comic book, Mouse Guard, about little medieval mice warriors.

Redwall -> Mattimeo -> Pearls of Lutra -> The Long Patrol

All sequential. One of the main characters in Pearls is Martin, Mattimeo's son, and then in Long Patrol Tansy and Arven make another appearance. This is also the first book in which Cregga Rose-Eyes appears, and she's also in Marlfox and Taggerung. So I guess all of those go one right after the other.
