Okay, I built a new machine last week, and the case, while huge and full of awesome, has two 2" fans on one side. These fans are loud, and they are more cooling than I need while doing normal shit with the computer. I'm not sure what the power connector they run off of is called, but it's very small (.25" maybe) and I
think 3-pin. What I am looking for, is either a switch that can be installed where the fan's power cable connects to my power supply, or barring that, a way to perhaps make one from scratch. I mean, if all I need is a toggle switch and some wire, I wouldn't mind jury-rigging it up. I just want to be able to switch off these case fans when they aren't needed. The case already has plenty of cooling going on without those.
EDIT:
The Case - I know, it's a bit over the top, but I needed a full tower with no power supply, and the price was right. Also, after installing everything in it, I'm
really happy with my purchase. I love how easy this case made installation. Anyway, you can see the fans on the hinged side door in the photo that URL leads to.

Anyway, if you want to do this, get one of those fan connectors, then wire it up to a switch:

Just FYI: red is power, black is ground, yellow is the RPM sensor. You only need to hook the switch up to the red line - the other two should be left intact.
3\4 Pin slots? I'm not familiar with those. What would I be looking for? For reference, here is my motherboard.
Overhead View. Are we talking about the two white plugs directly below the huge red heatsink?
On my mobo they're labeled SYSFAN1 and 2, it looks like you might have some here:
