With the news that Itagaki is leaving everyone is wondering what will happen next. I'm sure they listen to the gaming community so maybe we should tell them what should happen next. Should Tecmo continue on with the DOA series dragging along useless additional characters with storylines prolonged past the point of being interesting or should they just start over? Start a new series with a fresh new cast of cliché stereotypes and storylines. A chance to discard the poor choices of additional characters and other characters who have become rather pointless and trivial. Also DOA4 wrapped up many storylines what with DOATEC being destroyed what's next? Helena and company nuke the fridge and join Shia LaBeouf in searching for a magnetic alien skull? (though I still liked the movie someone explain to me how an alien race can technologically progress if they can't even hammer in a nail without having both flying into their face?) Perhaps it's time to say goodbye to the DOA series and start a new series. If Tecmo chooses to go that way let me take this time to say goodbye to some of the worst additions to the world of gaming...

Jann lee… The Bruce Lee wannabe who never was.
Bass… Someone who has gotten so old and useless his man boobs rival his daughters.
Ein… If Hayate is running around what are you? Some sort of retarded clone?
Spartan-458... Whose stage serves as a reminder of what Halo 2 should have looked like.
Gen Fu…. So just how many hips have you gone through?
Zack… Our token black teletubie.
Lei Fang… Explain how a malnourished Chinese girl has the same stamina as Bass?
And last but certainty not least…
Alpha 152... The cheapest, lamest and most annoying boss ever created to punish gamers
Now there will be some characters that people will miss but fortunately there are other fighting games out there who have their share of kick ass and/or busty characters and for those who will miss Christie fear not for the original Christie *cough Ivy cough* is still out there :P

Itagaki and his work, while popular, really particularly glorify objectification of primarily underaged females (can't even call them women) in a patronizingly adolescent way. Of course, it is a product of Japan and the culture is vastly different, but that doesn't change its impact in other parts of the world. I wouldn't be sad to see DoA fade away, if for no other reason than to lessen the alienation it helps maintain.

i think she looks pretty "healthy" there.
As your picture demonstrates, it didn't used to be so terrible, but I certainly haven't been interested past 2 since it's largest additions appeared to be made of breast tissue.

The boobs aren't really the problem. It's that the boobs are hanging off the frames of underage girls. I've just been playing through DoA4, and while it's alright, some of the camera angles pre/post fight, the way certain body parts 'bounce', and skirt splits fall, makes me feel a little :?, considering to me some of these girls look like they're meant to be 15.
edit: But to answer the OP; yes, I would like to see the series continued. I like a lot of the characters. But it wouldn't kill them to tone down the lolicon for the everywhere-but-Japan market.
