DS Lite Touch Screen Calibration 1cm off

Hello everyone,
Me and my friend are trying to fix my DS, basically out of no where the stylus is off by 1 cm. Followed some web remedies I found.
1. Clean the screen, remove screen protector
2. I read to use a soft brush to clean possible gunk wedged in the screen and casing
3. Calibrate (I would be calibrating sometimes non stop)
Right now the four squares when I did complete calibration, the two on the right side. I cannot click the center but right side of the box
So I think this must be a common problem from what I saw on Youtube but there is no help on fixing the unit. So if anyone has any information, help about this?
