    Sufjan Stevens is great.

    I also don't see how his music is comparable at all to this.

    I suppose it could be like a peanut butter/chocolate kinda deal.

    I think it might be that 7th resolving to tonic she sings on "your hair was long / when we first met"

    But the whole song's flow and the lyric, it is so melancholy somehow, so tragic. I can't stop listening to it.

    It's a good song when I'm in the mood for it, but I prefer Better (which for some reason strikes me as similar)

    I have to confess, "Samson" is one of my favorite songs.

    Regina Spektor just has this crazy amazing gift of emoting with her voice. Not many singers can convey that much emotion in their songs.
