Getting to your Hotel

I was wondering how people are getting from Sea-Tac to their hotels. I have reservations for the Hilton (formerly the Double Tree) and from what little research I’ve done it looks like there are no direct shuttles from the airport to the Hilton. I’ve found a bus route that goes to the Bellevue Transit Center. The transit center is only .8 miles from the hotel which is a walk I could do but would rather not while carrying all of my luggage. So I was wondering if anyone from the area or anyone more experienced in the ways of PAX had some better suggestions. Also keep in mind that I’m trying not to spend to much of my money on this leg of the trip.

I took that bus last year (and will again this year) and it worked out great. You basically walk out of the terminal and into the bus. The walk isn't bad at all. If memory serves, i think it was only $2.50 for the bus to get into bellevue. I doubt you'll find a better deal.

I think the bus goes right past the hotel too, but i'm not sure where the closest stop is, or even how often the bus really stops. And if you're really worried about carrying your luggage, I'd say bring less stuff :D

Uh, how long are you staying? I managed to go on a two-week trip and I only needed one carry-on bag. Also, I don't think it's actually that far away.

I actually don't know how much stuff I'm bringing yet, but it never hurts to plan for the worst.
