Okay so Capcom has basically been my favorite game company since I was old enough to recognize such things.
It started, for me, anyway, with Ducktales.

there were about a hundred NES games that capcom did that were amazing, but that is the definitive one for me

MOVING ALONG
I got an SNES fairly early into the life span of the system, and the first game I got that wasn't super mario world, and the only one I had for quite some time as I was pretty poor, was FINAL FUCKING FIGHT.
this is actually the worst version of final fight ever, it didn't have guy, who was actually probably the best character, and all the hot punk chicks got turned into dudes.
they later released Final Fight Guy, which had Guy, but not Haggar. and fuck that. Haggar's the man.
he later appeared in another awesome capcom game maybe you've heard of maybe not
this is wrasslin' on a grand scale.
I could go on about capcom and the snes, aladdin, War Of The Gems, etc etc
but hey this is a post not a book
so I guess it's time for a little ARCADE INTERMISSION
capcom ruled the arcade from the release of street fighter II until its demise at the hands of that foul beast ddr
and gave birth to what is possibly my favorite non-mario series of games of all time
the vs. marvel series
I was pretty lucky in high school (except for the fact it sucked) because I had an X-Men Vs. Street Fighter arcade cabinet in my cafeteria
nobody expects the Dhalsim/Sabertooth combo
