Southerners.
We are not hicks, racists, homophobes, lynchers, hood-wearers, or marriers of cousins.
Nor are we less intelligent, less cultured, less socially aware, or less educated.
We, and when I say
we I mean those lucky enough to be raised as I was raised, anachronistically well-mannered and gracious, seekers of knowledge and property (though never anything so foolish as one at the expense of the other) are the keepers of a certain charm that exists nowhere else. We are gentlemen and ladies as cannot be found elsewhere. We seek the comfort of others above all else.
But we are a people of
pride. If our honor is impugned, or, more commonly, the honor of a lady under our charge (which is to say any lady in the immediate vicinity) then there can be only one recourse.
Pistols.
We are not violent, but we are not cowards.
As the late, great General Robert E. Lee said: "They may annihilate us, but they will never conquer us." These words were met with a resounding cheer.
The definition is "Any who live in the American South and identify themselves as such," so who among you is that proud and graceful thing, a Southerner?
Posts
Hell yes, Skull Man, you are the best.
Does that make me a Southerner?
That depends.
Are you gracious in social situations?
Do you seek the comfort of others above all else?
Would you be perfectly content to while away an afternoon with family and friends on the front porch, with nothing to occupy you but pleasant conversation?
Well, besides Arkansas. Those poor fucks got nothing.
We cannot expect class from the classless, any more than we would expect a dog to sit up and read.
dunno what you're going on about
Plus a texas accent gets you chicks.

Done that plenty of times my friend.
Am I Southern by the Grace of God?
But if you like to strip down to your skivvies and beyond and run naked in your boots, well, that is one way to impress the local females.
I am dead serious
also, when the kentucky anthem comes on, during the part where it is "and the people are gay," my grandfather always sings the old version: "and the darkies are gay"
also I used to act in plays a lot when I was younger and he told me that was good but not to make a career of it because all the people in hollywood are gay
also he told me once that I had to learn how to ride a horse, shoot a gun, fence, etc to protect my family, which is something a woman can not do
Florida isn't really the South.
I also had no idea that Florida had a Prince Albert.
Thankfully that is nothing some sweet tea won't cure.
Also if you eat grits without salt you are a heathen yankee. Cheese is preferred, but optional.
Who was talking about Florida?
Florida is just full of retired New Yorkers.

Yeah, pretty much since the civil war.
What with them siding with the south and all.
Come Overwatch with meeeee

Whiskey won't hurt them, either.

the seceded
didn't do a damn thing
but they did secede
but I don't think I'm really a Yankee neither
Hey, Munkus, GO AUBURN!
I meant for the grits.
No, it's the same.
also, GO DAWGS
If Kentucky had seceded, it would've been a very different war.
hi 5
Don't mean a damn thing tah me now, kentucky is more southern than florida.
