I bought a Dell which came with Vista Home Premium and for one reason or another I am wanting to move back to XP Pro. I want to avoid having to back up all the crap that's stored on the HDD right now (about 300gigs). Forunately Dell decided to partition the drive for a "recovery" sector which is about 10gigs. Could I install XP over this partition and then kill Vista on the main partition without royally fucking over my boot and saving all the data on the main partition?
