Anthony Bourdain: The Most Awesome Chef Ever
Posts
Mario comes off as a bit of a dick, but he knows his shit and puts together some really good dishes.
he's so awesome
i haven't seen his show, though
i don't get the channel
Alton Brown is also my hero. But he is not the topic of this thread.
And as I read them I will hear his voice in my head.
Thats why i like him. Also he gets his ass handed to him half the time, which is equally as wonderful.

This is SE++ mate.
And you know it's getting pretty bad when Emeril and Escoffier are appearing in the same sentence and the words 'sucks compared to' do not appear in between.
just so wonderful and dreamy and siiighh

Really? You're going to bitch about how unfair and cruel the review is while you have the nerve to serve 4oz. of cow for 300 dollars?
If I'm going to pay out the ass, make me work for it. Like that the Big Texan steakhouse and its 72 oz. in one hour challenge. Even if you lose it's still 1/8 the cost of that shit. And you still got 68 oz. more beef for your money.
I think that's the hopeless fuckwit that sued him.
kpop appreciation station i also like to tweet some
But when he goes off on someone it's always funny.
In fact, Bourdain even named an award after him "The Alton Brown Award". It goes to the person who, while on the food network, manages to not suck.
Also, everyone should read Bourdain's books. They're amazingly entertaining.
Sadly, the owner was obscenely rich and delusional and didn't listen and lost buttloads of money.
I am intrigued! Any recommendation as to which one to read first?

Kitchen Confidential

A Cook's Tour
There really is no proper order. That isn't the order that they were published in, but it's the order that had me hooked. The Nasty Bits is just a really good read. None of them are too long either.
Awwwww chea.

You watch it to see a pretty cool guy who goes to some amazing places and gets pretty into their culture.
Also, if you're ever flipping through the channels and No Reservations is on, it's worth stopping. There was one where he was in Lebanon and ahd to be evac'd. It was a really really well done show.
pass
It's on the Travel channel.
The Food Network refused to show him doing so much drinking and smoking and cursing etc... Travel channel welcomed him with open arms.
