So Here's my entry for the lyrics contest, which is pretty obvious if you're at all familiar with the band. The second image is a redesign for the cover art so that I might be able to actually use it in my portfolio. I spoiler it just in case it ruined the surprise.

So I got some new stuffs to post. On a graffiti kick lately so here are some images. Crayola markers, third one down is a collaboration with the excellent Ape.







Also I've changed my thread title about a hundred times now, but I can't seem to do it anymore. Maybe a mod could change it to "new stuff that is new" or somethingeruther? I haven't made any comics in a while, and I feel that it is both misleading and false advertising, that'd be swell.

Yeah I've been writing gooba since highschool so about 10 fucking years. Shit.

I try to make my stuff as readable as possible, but at the same time I sometimes enjoy getting a bit abstract. I like making things that are simple and not overly complex, but I also like the viewer to be able to decipher it in their own way. Sometimes there is more than one way to interpret things.

Heres another one, this one was all tablet as you can tell from the lines that are straight. This one is pretty easy to read so if you can't find the letters in this one I think you're just not trying that hard. :P

I think the first one would look really cool on a t-shirt. You should get into silkscreen printing. It would really work well with your style.

Don't get too attached to the seahorse.

I think it would be a good project to start since it A.) does not require much dialog and B.) doesn't require a vast knowledge of human anatomy. No one will know that I'm not a writer, and I can't draw people. I'll probably start thumb nailing some things out soon.

I've just been messing around the tablet and coloring stuff lately.

Thanks. That makes me feel good because it was done in a couple weeks. If I really devote some time to something, I think it could be much better.

Hey thanks. I'm not sure what akimbo is, but google image search had some rather interesting photos.

Now that all my secret santa and contest things are done, I can get back to doing other projects. I've got this idea for the eight days of hanukkah . Instead of giving a gift each night, I'll post art of my eight favorite baddies from SMB3. Each night I'll reveal another of my favorite bad guys, until the final night where I'll post my favorite villain.

Really I'm just looking for an excuse to draw things from Super Mario 3...

And some logo ideas for a commission I'm doing. It's a sorta claddagh with a biker twist, as the hands will eventually look scarred and bleeding.



And a series of 5 board decks I might be doing for a friends company. No payment sucks, but free gear is good enough I suppose. It's a sequence depicting a robot apocalypse.



And lastly a design submission for this local art gallery. They basically have 15 bags and they pick the best 15 designs from local artists and let them go crazy designing cool bags.

I finished my SD3 advert, and I had it completely done when I realized I had wrote SuperDog3 instead of Sword. Luckily they have the same amount of letters so it wasn't too hard of an edit.
