No sound on my new PS3 all of a sudden?

Okay this is odd.
I bought a MGS4 PS3 bundle, so everythings great!
Starts fine, works fine, I'm playing MGS4 and no problems then I meet up with the first boss, it's late so I save and quit for the night.
Today I go to start and notice something odd, there is no sound.
I try a DVD and there is no sound.
I'm not using HDMI or anything, just using the cords that came with the system itself.
I did a search and seems like there were enough issues about sound but most were about issues with the HDMI, now I haven't changed or done anything with the settings since I last played.
So anyone got any idea whats going on here, everything was working like a charm.

Okay found out it's actually my TV and not my system so never mind.
