Longboards

I'm in the market for a longboard to use this summer and when I head off to college in the fall, and I was wondering if anybody had any good boards to suggest. I'm looking more towards something for carving rather than speed, but I'm open to anything. Thanks!

What kind of neighborhood will you be riding through? If it is anything like Nashville (streets go from perfect to rough, curbs, traffic) i would just get a larger street board. Something like 8ish by 32ish, maybe some softer, larger wheels for easier cruising/less trouble with rough terrain. Then you can ollie up curbs and stuff too. I use my regular street board for roaming around and going to random trips to the comic book store from the office (4 blocks) and I definitely dont see myself needing a longboard.

Although it would be nice :D
