I'm trying to set up FTPii on my Wii (for homebrew and media), and I keep getting the above error whenever I use the program to try to send anything to my Wii from my Mac (I'm using terminal's FTP capability, which is supposed to be glitch-free with FTPii). The only time I successfully sent anything using FTPii was when i installed the program itself, which I did using another program called wiiload (it lets you run programs on your Wii from your computer, without transferring the program to your Wii. I used wiiload to open FTPii on my Wii, then used FTPii to send the FTPii program files over to my Wii, thus installing it.) Now, when I try to use the installed version of FTPii, it says 550 Not a directory and fails to transfer the files.
Can anyone tell me more about what this error means, and possibly suggest a fix?
Update: I have tried using Fetch, and it is working- it sends the files, rather than giving me the 550 Not a directory error, but Terminal's FTP protocol is still giving me that error. I really cannot figure out why, and it would be nice to know I can use Terminal if I have to. Hope that helps.
