Nvidia 8800 GT Drivers-Still hangs up and texture corrupts

HelloweenHelloween Registered User regular
Hey guys

Running version 6.14.0011.7176. I cant for the life of me find (if there is one) an update for it. Any ideas where to look? I did try Nvidia's site with no luck.

Basically keep getting some Hang ups in games followed by texture loss/swaps/corruption. No idea why though (unless its the driver issue).

Any help would be brilliant.

    Windows XP 32 Home

I downloaded some Beta 175.16 Beta drivers. Worth a look?

Those drivers ought to be the newest available for you.

No not this time. It's Bioshock and The Witcher.

Thanks. Those are the ones I thought of trying. I'll give these a go after this damn Uni assignment is done :)

Ok, Still does it. Hangs up for about 5 seconds then textures get messed up.

    Any ideas?

It might be bad memory on the card. Try downclocking it with rivatuner. If it works fine with that, send it to the company as a RMA.

Yeah doesn't sound like a driver issue. What sort of PSU are you running with the card? Also check the caps on that sucker.
