Specific horror/thriller movies

Hey everyone at H/A,

So I've been having a craving for horror movies lately...and not just any horror movies. I've seen many, but I do have a hard time finding some that are about a specific theme. I really really enjoy movies/stories/even games about sleepy old towns or even abandoned towns. One of the most obvious references could be Silent Hill, but I also think a town like Doolin in Folklore fits as well.

Basically, I'm searching for horror movies set in old/haunted/abandoned towns. Barring Children of the Corn (bleck), does anyone have any they could recommend? These could be from any country as well, as long as I can find it subtitled. Thanks!

Not a town, but set in creepy abandoned rural boondocks - the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Maybe one of the following movies could fulfill your wish:

    1. House on Haunted Hill (1999)

    2. Phantoms (1998)

    3. Night of the Demons (aka Halloween Party) 1988

By the way, if you find this last movie, there is a song during a demonic dance that I would die to own.

I found Night of the Demons on Amazon for $8, so maybe I'll check it out. I can't believe I've never heard of it, because I do love 80's horror movies too.

As for the others, I've seen them all but they're very good movies, so thanks for your recommendations :)
