So, in order to avoid advertising, I won't link my craiglist sale, but I had bought an extra pass for Deiru, who sadly had to move back to PA do to cash issues and won't make it to PAX this year. So, I'm selling his pass with the offer of carpooling and parking.
Is anyone else doing something like this, or maybe want in on that action? Simply put, I'm going by myself now and would like someone to go with, since all my friends are too "cool" for this type of thing.

cool. i'm not personally having a problem getting a refund, as i haven't actually tried. while i have gone to pax from 2004-2006 alone, i did enjoy it a bit more in 08 with a friend there. as wil wheaton said, gaming is a social thing, so i figured i'd find somebody else in a similar situation and maybe hang out with them a bit for a few days.

Just want to throw out that I went to PAX 07 alone last year and met many great people at the Green Tortoise hostel. I helped spread the word and there should be even more great people this year. Check out the thread if you're interested.
Though since I am going with a stunningly beautiful woman (coworker only) I'm sure there will be plenty of attention in my general direction.
