Ilovebees has them in order. I gave my friend the first half and told him to listen to them by week and by subject.
Also, as someone just found out, right now my connection sucks (constant redlining) So I'll be back on once everyelse in my house gets off the net and/or goes to bed.
My problem with the achievement list is how poorly it's written.
It just looks like something some fanboy threw together.
That's what really bothers me. I don't expect Bungie to give out lame achievements, but even if they do, I don't think they'll have an illiterate write them.
So we're sitting in our homes throwing death around when we get to little place we like to call Turf. One flag CTF fast. Nothing was fast about this match but the humour. We defend real good at first. Then we steals a flag. A few guys quit out but then we defend again. Then it's time for a vanity. Oh how vain we were. We slam our flag guy into the cage. You know the one, behind the flag cap. We then proceed to slam all of us in there. To our blue friends surprise we are untouchable. He is the only one left. After much dicking around we decide, you know what we need to put that guy in the cage and the flag out of it. Blue guy gets tricked up to the cage and Fyre slams him in. We are all gunned down by his shotgun and he is left there. Imprisoned in the foolishness of himself. As he sits there thinking the game can't be won by us as we cannot get the flag. We return it. Only to abuse the sudden death even further. Now it's my turn to spring bounce the flag to the top of the map. For story telling purposes I'll tell you I actually made it out of the map with the flag
I did not make it out although I had many successful bounces
. So then Viscount goes in the cage when mr.blue gives up and goes AFK. Viscount then smacks the poor soul dead. We then proceed to use him as a doorstop for the warehouse. I then get fed up and cap the flag
<FyreWulff> Now, the jackass team finally drops down to one guy
<FyreWulff> and he's trying his damndest to get through that fence
<Polago>
<FyreWulff> so we offer to boost him through
<FyreWulff> it takes a few tries, but I finally got him through
<FyreWulff> what I didn't know is he had grabbed a shotgun
<FyreWulff> needless to say he cleared out the area behind it
<FyreWulff> the fence
<FyreWulff> so all of us are outside the fence
<FyreWulff> he's inside
<FyreWulff> Now in Halo, the flag has a meter under it
<FyreWulff> it goes all the way down, it returns to the base
<FyreWulff> We got the idea
<FyreWulff> So I uncontest-recontect the flag to keep the game in sudden death but wear the meter down
<FyreWulff> guy's waiting at the flag spawn
<FyreWulff> the flag returns
<FyreWulff> we carry the flag back and set it down in front of the fence
<FyreWulff> blue guy can't do anything because he used up all his grenades
<FyreWulff> so suicide isn't an option
<FyreWulff> We actually tricked someone and CAPTURED in Halo.
<FyreWulff> tl:dr; i'm going to hell

I felt bad for the guy, But it was truly awesome. D_day_101 was the guy we captured. he originally decided to not play that match until we kept it in overtime to a ridiculously large amount. I felt bad for the guy and decided to put him out of his misery.
Holy shit! That vidoc was awesome. I can't wait to get home and watch it in 720p.
You think so? I thought it was a snooze fest.
We can talk about alpha build not done yet blah blah blah but the fact remains that what we've been shown so far is boring as snot. It looks like halo2 will some prettier lighting. The x button sounds "ok" but those items could've easily have been mapped to the grenade button without any gameplay changes. It sounds like they needed something to do with the xbutton since they changed up how you reload, and this is what they came up with.
If the game ain't ready, and it ain't pretty, then don't show me the goddamn thing until it is. Because right now I'm sorely disapointed to the point of being hurt, even worried, that halo3 just isn't going to be what I hope it'll be.
All of that footage was from the Alpha build, not the beta.
I think the new "deploy equipment" button will add a lot to the game. I'm sure trip mines and deployable shields are just the tip of the iceberg for the thing. What were you expecting? It's Halo and it's gonna play like Halo.
Seriously man now I know you think you're in a one sided fight being in a halo thread but that video made my warm inside. It was fucking kick ass. Serioulsy I get the reaction most of those testers got from when I play Halo 2 and it's unmatched. "Hey I just sniped you in the head...now lets watch it in slow motion" FUCK YES!! Bubble shields are sweet because now in Halo 2 the winner of a firefight is very much determined by who gets the first shot in. More asymetrical maps means for some awesome One Flag/Bomb gametypes. Trip mines are just downright nasty and they'll be fucking awesome to drop on a vehicle. This game is gonna rock. Believe it.
All of that footage was from the Alpha build, not the beta.
Which I said. Which also isn't an excuse. If it isn't ready, then show me something else. Don't show me anything, just give me the interviews. But it looks barely better than halo2. For as long as the game as been in development, it should be farther along than that.
And for the billionth time already, if they don't want to show updated stuff, then don't show something that looks like a previous gen game with some flashy lighting thrown on top of the engine.

I think what you're thinking is that the ITEMS will add a lot to the game, which they very well could, but there's no new "functionality" for the x button. It doesn't create new game strategies. It's something that easily could have been mapped to the grenade button and had the items selectable.
What were you expecting? It's Halo and it's gonna play like Halo.
Oh really? Cause I was expecting a halo game that was worthy of my 360, not of my original xbox.

You acknowledge that you know the video is from an alpha version and you still complain about how the game looks? You haven't seen it yet.
Do you really want the deploy equipment button and grenades to be the same thing? I can't imagine switching between six or seven different options on the grenade button. It would just be clumsy.
Did you have the same problems with Halo 2? Being able to hold a gun in your other hand is not that big of a deal either I suppose.
I guess I'm not going to persuade you to like it, but I really don't see what the problem is with the thing.

Items are gonna fucking change a lot! If you don't believe it you're an idiot. If you don't believe this game will look amazing visually, you are an idiot. Being a little bit better than Halo 2 IS A HUGE FUCKING STEP. It's obviously going to look like Halo. It's mother fucking Halo. It's going to look very impressive. This is Microsofts top fucking game. It's going to be amazing. No doubt. I hope your 360 doom circles because clearly you're not worthy of it.
I just watched the new vidoc and I have a few remarks to make about it. They are obviously working a lot on the multiplayer side of this game with constant play testing, but that's doesn't allay some of my worries. They play tested the first dl map pack a lot and it only took a few days for people to hack them, and a few hours for people to find exploits in the maps (taking the banshee to snipe in the tall tower on Containment). One of the developers talked about placing a hill in a map expecting people to use it to snipe, but finds out in their play testing that no one uses it. Well is that because the hill really is in a bad spot, or because the people playing are all bad snipers? The Bungie team isn't known for being the greatest H2 players (look at their humpday challenges). Another developer mentioned that they were surprised that everyone went straight for the dual wield when starting with an SMG. That must be before the patch cuz smg + melee is more powerful than some dual wields at close range and a lot of players know it. He also neglected to mention the most important aspect of weapon placement.....STARTING WITH AN SMG IN A WIDE OPEN MAP SUCKS ASS! Hopefully this beta test will allow the greater community of better players and dickwads to smooth out the maps. Unfortunately, they are only allowing a few maps in the test, and no word on any feedback system other than their horrendous bungie.net forums.

Given that its a beta, I wonder if finding glitches for hilarity might be our main objective during the beta. Not just stress testing the servers and the backend.
All of that footage was from the Alpha build, not the beta.

Like hell it isn't an excuse.
They wanted to show of gameplay and new things, they didn't want to show off graphics -- that's the 'excuse' and it's a damn fine one.
They weren't ready to show off graphics, but they were ready to show off other things, so unless you want to see stick men running around or stare at static images it's perfectly fine.
But saying that, I'm somewhat worried that for an alpha and considering the 'launch date' (It just has to be around November this year, if it's some time next year people won't be happy). Edit: Though, this video is an old alpha so they aren't showing us anything current, so, we have no idea how far along they are, no idea.

Enough of that, did any notice the little piece of equipment on the ramp like 15 seconds in ? It looks like a little box with a machine gun inside, aka a deployable 'turret' -- or am I imagining things ?
I'm pretty pysched now, before I wasn't really thinking 'Yay, Halo3 3' at all but it now seems like they've done some things right.

Sounds like the SMG is getting the shit-can and I couldn't be happier. Trip mines look like theres going to be many, MANY crazy uses. I could imagine putting a trip mine on a flag or worse yet, Some how dropping one off a hog or ghost. We will have to see if we can attempt a shield bounce and then maybe a grenade next to a shield bounce.

Speaking of the MM update I just put into the title for those not paying attention: it's supposed to happen "around" that time, and you will need the new maps to play in the majority of Matchmaking.

There is a video, it shows what X does among other things.
I'm downloading the video doc right now. I'll have to wait to get home for the hi-def 360 version.
