Oh, hey there. Stay a while. We're the ones that won't rape you.

I've never been into mouse gestures. It's one of those things that I've never really thought would necessary or useful. I suppose I'll give it a try seeing as you seem to have been in the same boat and like it, but I'm feeling very meh about it now.

I'm also kinda surprised the Wii browser doesn't have them, no that I think about it.

Oh, I thought this would get moved. I guess merge it into the Fx 3 thread?

did you really expect anything different from us? its cock jokes for a page or two then generally we start talking about whatever the topic is about.

My mouse's back and forward buttons on the side makes mouse gestures pretty much pointless.

That being said, with a regular mouse I would totally try them out.

I used to play Black & White a lot and couldn't get my Creature to do what I wanted it to do. In fact, most of the time was spent waving my pointer around, hoping to stumble on some sort of mouse gesture holy secret I wasn't privy to.

    I'm guessing technology has progressed?

Yeah, I coudn't get into it either. Even at work without a back and forward button, I just normally hit, Enter for Forward, Backspace for back. And all the tab stuff, I do with ctrl+[]

The thing I like mouse gestures is just drawing on the screen. :)

Eh. Do you have mouse buttons for opening/closing tabs, minimize, refresh, etc? I honestly think I use those gestures a lot more than back/forward. (New tab in particular is really handy, since there isn't generally a button on screen for that by default.)

I guess I use my keyboard a lot more. Middle click on the tab to close, I never minimize anything, F5 for refresh, Ctrl+T for new tab (or double cick in the empty space, or middle click link/Go).

All-in-One Gestures is what I've used since Firefox was called Firebird.

It's so good and complete, it may as well stop being an extension and actually be a part of the Firefox feature set.
