I mean, i just battled through an army of Alien Cyborg Zombies and all i get is character actor Peter Stromer and everyone else patting me on the back going "Good job"?

I would like to make a call of BS

    It seemed to me that Q4 was designed to be forgettable. IMHO it was the worst of the series, though the DM isn't too bad now that most computers can run it well.

    I give it props for the small twist it takes, though. Unfortunately I knew about it ahead of time, but it came out of nowhere.

    There was supposed to be an expansion developed by Ritual, but was canceled. The remnants of it (multiplayer stuff) were released for free in a patch. It is a shame though, v1.0 really was pretty bad multiplayer wise. If it had been released as it stands right now at the latest patch, it would have been a lot better.

    I mean, it was like quake 2 with better graphics. How can they pull this on us?

    Peter Stormare was the only thing that redeemed it, slightly.

    Many I remember when Quake 2 first came out, the graphics were the shit. Now there is this http://www.gamedev.no/projects/TerminalQuake2/TerminalQuake2.html, video game technology progress is ridiculous.

    EDIT: They need to put quake 4 on steam, I'd probably pick it up for $10 bucks.

    quake 4 was terrible.

    Amazing. Too bad the heretic 2 source was never released, because that game fucking rocked. That's another one that needs to be on steam.

    Don't forget the expansion for Hexen 2, that game is probably one of my all-time favorites.
