This is a list in progress.
I hope this isn't seen as advertising but I think people that post here would really enjoy this sort of thing. It's a documentary style top ten list on NES games that more people should have played. Cheers!

Top Ten Neglected NES Games

If you like the style there's a two-part intro that covers a little bit of history and why the NES in particular had lots of neglected games.

    The Guardian Legend doesn't get enough NES love, despite it being one of the best games on the system.

    Defender of the crown is a good time to and amazingly simple but fun gameplay.

    I also love me some Desert Commando.
