Why does Firefox 3 suck?

So, is anyone else having trouble with Firefox 3?

It would seem that it likes to constantly reload pages, and not let me access Gmail. Quick google search gives me nada.

Any ideas?

For your information, I'm running XP Pro, and Vista Ultimate 64 on my desktop which has the same issue.

    I've been using it since release day and had no problems with reloading pages or with accessing GMail. Probably a good place to start is to try creating a new profile and see if the behavior is the same there. Firefox allows multiple profiles to be installed under the same user account, so you don't have to lose anything from your current profile to try running under a fresh one.

    Because it's not Opera 9.5? Do you have any addons that might be messing the browser up? Try a clean install if the fresh profile doesn't do it.

    I have been using it since beta 2, and never had any problems.
    Ok that is a bit of a lie, I did have it crashing constantly for about a week... but then I figured out my computer was overheating very badly (huge build up of dust).. and as soon as I blew out the dust, it worked great... so not FF fault.
