I plan on bringing my Magi-nation stuff the the Tabletop stuff at The Red lion if Anyone wants to play, since the game will be making a comeback of sorts around next year.
I'll be staying at the hilton, So I'll likely have to take a taxi over to the red lion or walk or something.

What the hell is Magi-nation?
I'm intrigued by anything new, but I honestly have never heard a thing about it.
Magi-Nation is a CCG very similar to Magic but, In my Opinion, much better balanced with better mechanics.
Play that Demo game at that website, all youll get the gist of it.
There are a number of different Nations you can have a deck of in Magi-nation:
Cald: Fire Nation
Arderial: Air Nation
Orothe: Water Nation
Naroom: Forest Nation
Underneath: Earth/Subterranean Nation
Weave: Grasslands Nation
Paradwyn: Jungle Nation
Bograth: Swamp Nation
Core: Darkness Nation (the Nation I play as my primary deck.)
Nar: Ice Nation
D'resh: Sand Nation
Kybar's Teeth: Earth/Mountain nation.
and Universal cards, whice can be used in any deck.
Magi:
In every deck, you select 3 Magi cards from your Nation, these are Seperate and don't count as part of your deck for deckbuilding, you may place your 3 Magi in any order you wish, as this will actually affect your Strategy! Magi have a Starting Energy, which is how many energy Counters they start with, in addidtion, they have an Energize rate, of which is energy they recieve each turn. Magi can also have Effects and Powers printed on their cards as well, they also have Starting cards listed, when you reveal your Magi, you will search your deck for your "Starting Cards" printed on your Magi card.
Dream Creatures:
Dream Creatues are servants that ypur Magi can call forth for Energy costs. Let's say you have a Naroom Magi, say, Yaki. Yaki could play his Furok, the amount of energy printed on the Furok card would be subtracted from Yaki, and Placed on the Furok card. Energy would be lost-gained onto your creatures through their effects and power, Attacking and defending, and through other cards like Magi effects, Spells, Relics and such.
Spells: Spells are a simple one time effect that can be used by paying the proper amount of energy from your Magi.
Relics: Relics are cards that stay in play until they are destroyed or your Magi is defeated.
Regoinal Restrictions: You can play a Spell or a Creature of another nation, if you pay a Reginal Penalty of 1 Energy, However, you CANNOT play relics that isn't Universal or your own nation.
The Nation of the Core: The Core nation has some special rules. Normally, Core Magi CANNOT play any card of other nations Whatsoever (unless a card allows them to.) however, there are Both regular Core magi and "Shadow Magi" Shadow Magi have a Nation that they were before they turned to the side of the core. Example, Warrada is a Naroom Shadow Magi. Shadow Magi can play cards of their orginal region for a regional penalty of one. it works the other way too, Magi of other regions cannot harness the creatures or spells of the Core unless a card ability allows them to, (like the Naroom magi, Yaki-Core Stalker.)
More info to come.

If by hilton, you mean the hotel formerly known as the Doubletree, then there's no taxi over, dog. It's right next door and takes less than 2 minutes to get there if you're walking in a zig-zag pattern.
Shweat. It's been years since I played Magi-nation. Count me in. But are you plannig to be there all day or from x time to x time, cause there are some tournements I want to play in and then I just want to look around because this is my first PAX.
Sounds pretty cool, I'd be interested in possibly checking it out. I used to be a big Magic player, oh.... like 9 or 10 years ago. I always thought it would be fun to start another game, expecially now that I could afford it.
Since the Tabletop is open like 24 hours I think Gabe said, I'm basically gonna stop in after I leave the con for the day, and hang the fuck out until I wanna head back to my hotel and sleep when I get shit tired.
I have to say, last year I did just about everything I wanted to do in one day. The major advantage of having a 3 day pass this year will be that I can take my time, BS, and enjoy everything without having to run around like a chicken with my head cut off. I don't know if I'll be able to be running around too much after 2AM and still expect to be back to the show early the next day! We'll see...
Well Trillian, you sound experienced! It sounds like someone needs to start a thread, "The essential guide to avoiding the Sandman and making the most of your PAX experience" Or some other such....
I know last year people were drinking bawls energy drinks like water, that's probably a good start. X)

I can stop right over after making a short trip to my room to pick up my shit when I get off my shuttle after I leave the Con each day.
Also: I will probably construct a number of decks before I come, So I'll be able to give demo games.
This is gonna be fun guys!!
