Seriously, I saw this on the shelf today and was like "What? When did that come out?".
I found out it came out last week, and there's no demo for it up yet.
So what the fuck? Is it good of what? I haven't heard of this for forever and all of a sudden it's out?
What's the verdict?

There was some controversy going on about the reviews that are out. Atari was accusing some publications that gave it really low scores of pirating the game, since the publications that gave the game low scores were never given review copies and one particular site put up their review immediately after the game was released to stores, and then had it mysteriously taken down. The publishers claimed they had a "trusted retail source". Tycho lampooned it a day or two ago.

But so far it seems to be unanimously considered mediocre, or outright terrible.

I'm going to wait for a demo on this before forming an opinion. Supposedly they've fucked up on the controls but otherwise there's a good game buried in there.

Eurogamer gave it a good review too. I'm waiting for my copy and hopefully I'll put up a little review for savygamer, but for once it's taken a while to arrive.
