So for the past few years vh1 has been going on a rampage through the 70's, 80's, and 90's with their I Love the blank blank series
I started watching when they first struck with I Love the 70's. I didn't relate to any of it; but all I know about 70's pop culture comes from that show. Naturally next came I love the 80's. Then they blew everyone's minds when they did I love the 90's. People started complaining that it was too soon to talk about a decade that closed no more than four years ago. Vh1 proceeded to milk the fuck out of the series with sequels upon sequels.
But now the crazy bastards have done the unthinkable. They are taking on the 2000's with I Love the New Millennium. Tonight they premiere 2006 and 2007. What the hell will they do now?!
So other people here must have been addicted to marathons of this show at some point. Or maybe I'm the only one who likes D and F list celebrities to tell me about things that happened in the past.
Alternatively: A bloo bloo bloo vh1 sucks!
Correction: I love the 80's came first. Like that makes any sense. I know right!
Do we really need these already? I'm expecting 2008 and 2009 to premiere next week, and 2009 will just be an hour of b-list celebrities looking forward to George Bush leaving office.

So those who are fans of the show know that before they go to commercial break and when they come back they have little segments that they do for each episode in a decade.
This time they picked some annoying fucks to do these.
Perez Hilton: How gay was it?
Andrew W.K: Time Capsule
Sisqo (sp?): Hotties I'd like to see in a thong
Johnny Fairplay: Liars of the year
The I Love... shows aren't that bad in themselves, but I hate that they spawned a whole new genre of TV: people you don't give a shit about commenting on shit you don't care about for an hour.

What? Those lunatics!
The most surprising part of the series is when they air the I Love The 2008 Presidential Election recap a month before the election
the cutest person doing commentary was that blond lady witht he glasses for I Love the 90s. Or maybe darryl from the office. have they been on this newer one?

This was the first thing I watched on vh1. Then they had 100 Greatest One Hit Wonders.
Then they devolved into The Surreal Life and Flavor of Love. And for some reason ran with the whole celebrity appreciation rather than the fun stuff
whenever I see "I love" on the tv guide channel I am like fuck yes
