Alright SE, I need your help. I'm going grocery shopping after work today at the local Giant. The problem is that for pretty much the past 6 months, i've been getting the same damn things every two weeks. My current shopping list each and every time is:
10 bottles of lemonade vitamin water
10 cups of yogurt
bananas
pint of ben and jerrys
store baked cookies
I feel like I need a change. What should I pick up today?
Also, what do you usually get when you go grocery shopping?
okay, definitely picking up ground beef and bacon and cheese. maybe on the milk because I always drink half then forget about it and leave it to spoil. yes on the ky and chips.
see, this is what i need. I always go in having no idea what to get and just get the same thing over and over.
If the store has a weekly ad, check that out. Oftentimes you see something you like and are all "Oh snap, Arizona Arnold Palmer's for a $1, gotta pick up one or two of those."

Grab a pack of frozen chicken breasts and maybe thighs too. You can keep them frozen for a while, and they're pretty easy to use.
Get some thick pork chops, an onion and some nice barbecue sauce. You can make really easy baked pork chops.
Also very handy are SteamFresh frozen vegetable packs. Very easy to use.
I saw no cereal on your list my good sir. How can one live without cereal?
Here is my regular shopping list.
Rice Crispies or Ohs!
Lactose free milk. This stuff lasts for months! It has to be some kind of alien invention.
Kraft Cheese
Crackers
Shrimp Flavored Ramen
Turkey
Wheat Bread
and water, lots and lots of water
