This is a friendly note to all those planning on bringing your Nerf arsenals to PAX this year, we have been asked by MBC staff to keep it off their premises. This is a complete ban. Don't even bring them into the event.
Now with this info we would also like to remind you that this ban will also include the PAX satellite location at the Red Lion.
Remember that your actions will determine how well we are received at other venues and hotels. If word gets around that our people don't give a damn about the rules then it's going to be a pain to continue to grow.

Is there still going to be Nerf at the Doubletree? The ballroom nerfwar setup last year was all sorts of rad.

I saw this and just let loose the evil-est laugh ever.
My brothers have about a dozen of these guns including a few electric semi-automatic ones that you can just spam to your hearts content, each with several clips.
I just had am image of myself arriving here with the sniper slung over the shoulder, the two uzis they have on my belt and the two semi-autos just going full blast as I kick open the door.
Glorious.
Its for the best to not have them though, welts suck.

Plus I would highly suggest AGAINST bringing anything remotely resembling a weapon to pax07. Most of the WSCTC space is public accessible space and therefore, patrolled by the Seattle police dept.
Unless you like possibly getting hassled and/or raped/beatdown with a nightstick, better leave the nerf at home.
It is illegal in public parks in seattle or something? I hardly see a nerf weapon as something thats a "violent" weapon. Airsoft is one thing if it looks realistic. Getting hassled over nerf weapons would laughable imho.
Plus I'm sure the wsctc has a fire code for something like this. You cant do anything there without having to check it with fire codes :P
Just leave them in your hotel rooms if you do feel the need to bring them.
It would have to be in a public park setting, anyplace else would get us into trouble.
