Is there any way to attach AV cables to an iMac?

    To answer your question as asked: Yes, you can. Try using some variety of cellophane tape.

    There are many, many different kinds of iMacs, from the gumdrop CRT beasts to the flower pot lamp things to the flat panel L-footed ones to the new black framed ones. What kind of iMac are we talking?

    Also, there are many, many types of AV cables. Are you looking for VGA, Component (Red, Green, Blue), Composite (Yellow), RCA Audio (Red, White), DVI, HDMI, etc. Are you looking for input or output? Trying to play a console on the computer's screen or send the computer's video output to a TV/Monitor/Projector?

    Your question lacks even the most basic information. Help me help you. Also, here.
