The GAME WALL

edited July 2008 in Games and Technology
Hey everyone.. long-time fan of Penny Arcade here, just never took the time to click the Forums link. To start off.. I'm a gamer and have become a bit of a packrat. I recently set up a set of shelves for all my games, anime, and Star Wars books... AND RAN OUT OF ROOM. Yep.. there's a whole box of Atari 2600 cartridges without a spot to store them on the Game Wall itself. A friend at work saw these pics and suggested I post them here, so here they are, enjoy..

Wow, that is incredibly well organized.

Wish I could share some awesome pictures like that, however I have problems finding games I bought three years ago, much less my NES/SNES games.

I know a lot of people use different cases to save space. The Cover Project has a lot of stuff to use in them - for example, DVD cases for PS1 and Dreamcast games, and VHS boxes for bulky carts.

How is this the game wall when only 50% (11 out of 22 shelf slots) of the shelves have games in them. :P

Unfortunately my games are dispersed between my living room and bedroom :|

Apparently I wasn't logged in when I came back, the posting rules box said clearly "You may not edit your posts" when I replied.

I wish I could make fun of you for your Sailor Moon DVDs, but for some off reason, I can't.

I have a good set of last gen and current gen stuff, but lost most of my older games. I need more shelves.

I'm trying to identify the NES games. I see Super Mario Bros 1, 2, and 3, the first two Zelda games, Star Tropics 1 and 2, and I think... Castlevania 2 and Ninja Gaiden? I can't tell.

The law of epeen threads is that you can't go two pages without the inevitable lack of girlfriend/are you a virgin comments.

Not that this bother me or anything, i'm just a dispassionate observer. DANCE, PUPPETS!!

    Ahem.

Also, OP owns some pretty mediocre games. And two copies of Front Mission 4 for some reason (though I actually quite liked it. Link system be damned).

Man, with all the duplicates in this collection, I have to wonder if you found a way to find yourself in another dimension and then steal that version's game collection and bring it back to our dimension. Cuz, I can't think of any reason why you would have so many duplicates of the same games.
