Firefox: Infuriating tooltip box.

I'm having this Firefox problem I hope someone can help with.

The tooltips that appear when you hover over links (or images) seem to have a limited width-- instead of reading in decently long lines, it's almost like each word has it's own line. This leads to a difficult to read, scrunched up column of text. Anyone know how to change this?

I don't know about you, but I always buy a bullet proof printer. Its a lot more expensive, but I think the advantages are apparent.

    On FF2: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1715

It doesn't work for FF3, but that's because they fixed the issue in FF3, so the solution is really to upgrade.

    Or are you on FF3?

Ah-- already running FF3. This is a different problem entirely.

Instead of the text for the tooltip appearing like this:

Text Text Text Text Text Text Text
Text Text Text Text Text Text Text

    It appears like this:

    Text
    Text
    Text
    Text
    Text
    Text
    Text

    It's extremely difficult to read.

I found the problem, for those who may be interested.

AVG Safe Search. When I disabled this, it returned my tooltips to normal.

I'm gonna report this problem to them in hopes that they can fix it.

I am using AVG 8.0 with the Safe Search enabled and I am not experiencing any problem. Odd.
