Still nothing thus far, but drama tonight has definitely gone and distracted me a bit.
So my wife's little brother has always been inclined to cause mischief. Apparently this weekend he got in with the wrong crowd and ended up in jail... didn't call anyone, and when my wife's parents finally freaked out enough to start calling around today, they found out where he was. They called us this evening, which is why I took off so quick from IRC. It sounds like he's going to be okay (as he himself didn't commit any crime from what it sounds like), but he was arrested and apparently he has some kind of arraignment hearing tomorrow.
Why is there so much drama in my life? Ugh! I think the BioWare drama was drama enough for me. Anyways, it sounds like they'll let him go at this arraignment hearing because everyone at the scene said he didn't know what was going to go down, but it was plenty of drama for one night... that's for sure.
Anyways, yeah... but no message from BioWare. I don't know if that means I didn't win or if they're still debating it, but I guess we'll see in time. I eagerly await the decision, despite other life drama that keeps coming around.
Aye, true. I get the feeling whatever decision is made (for better or worse ) will probably be tomorrow given the late hour that it is tonight. Unless they have someone staying up specifically for the purpose... which is okay by me I just want to know how it turned out!
And I think my brother-in-law will be okay, as long as he uses this as an opportunity to realize that misbehaving as a kid and teenager just isn't worth bringing along with you when you become an adult. Hopefully it'll all get sorted out and there won't be anything really terrible that comes out of it.
Sorry to hear about your problems with your brother in law. Getting into scrapes which involve The Filth is never good.
As to Bioware's dithering on the decision it's taken years off of my life quite frankly. Well maybe not years. Months maybe. Oh ok 30 minutes if pressed but you get the gist!
After repeated fistfights yesterday, we've narrowed it down from the original group to 3 possible winners. We agreed to get stitched up and let our bones knit overnight and will have the final winner today. Stay tuned.
