GMAIL FIREFOX PAIN HELP SHIT WE'RE ALL DEAD

Okay, the thread title may have been a little extreme.
Recently changed the proxies at work, cause we had to. After that, majority of the Interwebs are working fine for browsing. No idea what I did, but now gmail and facebook started being crappy. I can see everything (I can even use gmail chat fine) but when I got to send an email, or send a facebook message, or write on someone's wall, or do anything with any INPUT, I get server errors, or takes stupidly forever. I'm using Firefox3.
Gmail gives me a #103 server error doom-pants, and can't even get a message off.
I wouldn't usually think much of this - whatever, my proxies hate me or the ports or something, but if I open IE with exactly the same proxies as firefox, everything is fine and dandy .
As I said, Firefox 3 with no extensions. I have no idea what's going on. Anyone got any clues?
Edit: Tried a completely fresh install of firefox, same deal. It's like they just sit on endless loops of loading. I hate this.
