Given the fact that I was asking about Paranoia, I assumed it was to be tounge-in-cheek, and thereby self-consciously hilarious (rather than the cluelessly hilarious that might be expected of a typical LARP).

I've made fun of those people since junior high school. And suddenly Trillian's image doesn't seem so random.
As much as I have a deep seated aversion to LARP (my presence in the murder mystery notwithstanding), I have to say I'd probably play a Paranoia LARP. That's just on the strength of my love for Paranoia, of course, not my love for wearing medieval drag and running around the woods with a foam sword.
