MS didn't realise that they'd already announced the game was coming to the system. It would appear misinformation and deception are new to this RE5. Besides it makes it more acceptable when they also claim the animations are new to this RE.
Damn you for getting me excited about a WiiMotionPlus 1:1 sword duelling game set in the Kirby universe which would have been completely insane and totally awesome!

Maybe they edited it out. I sat through it live and was wondering why I wasn't cooking dinner. And when nothing else was announced/shown, I cursed myself for being hungry and disappointed.
Alright. I'll kick things off: I didn't think the Nintendo one was THAT bad. Everyone was acting like they were in a coma while watching it but I thought we got some good info on the MotionPLUS thing. Plus, apparently, the sword fighting minigame is really good from hands on reports.
Also, Animal Crossing will consume my life again. Sigh... Not sure if that's a good or bad thing yet.
I will say that it wasn't god awful, but I will say that outside of a few "hey, that's kinda cool" moments, there wasn't anything shown that makes my wallet rustle with anticipation.
Nintendo could have sold me a Wii yesterday, I've been really considering buying one, but they failed badly.
I totally feel the same. I was hoping for at least some announcements evading the whole casual gaming thing. Instead we got a bunch of games dedicated to making middle aged middle class people making an ass of themselves in their living room.

I don't think so. The video was 40-ish minutes long, and the failure was supposed to start at 35 minutes in. I think my net just shit itself or something because it knew what was coming.

I am still horribly disappointed that there still is no word on any new Legacy of Kain games.
After watching the PoP videos a few times; man, this generation is just ripe for a new Kain game.
Too bad Amy Hennig doesn't own the rights, Naughty Dog would be making a sequel as we speak. She wrote the last games and I wouldn't trust anyone else to keep all that insane pre-destination time jumping sensible.

I'm willing to give them a pass. Yeah, the press conference sucked, but it was only half an hour long. Their booth had MM9, Bionic Commando and Bionic Commando Rearmed, SF2HD and SF4 arcade, and RE5. That's enough concentrated awesome for me.
