Bug Report: New post feature, in Firebird?

The new posts highliting (Threads turn red etc) doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. They don't change back to the tan colour once I've read them.
I recently switched to Firebird but it was working a couple of couple of days ago. I just loaded up in IE and it seems fine.
I'm not currently seeing this problem, although I do know what you're talking about. I've seen this happen here and on other phpBB-based boards. It's either a bug in phpBB or a load-related issue. I very much doubt that it's caused by Firebird, since the highlighting is done server-side, AFAIK.
This is just the cluster being silly. The clocks are off sync by a little bit. So they dont exactly match up on things you just read, give it about 5 min, it will go away.
I've seen this behaviour on forums that are not clustered, any idea what that might be ?
Refreshing the page doesnt help? Normally Firebird caches the content for a little while... Hmmmmmm. If its not a caching problem than I cant think of anything off the top of my head.
This usually happens to me If I visit PA after being at another forum in another tab for a long time.. like TTB.. my guess is its a cookie problem.

yeah, if you are seeing the posts not staying current on the highliting then I would blame it on the cluster clocks not being in sync. If you are not seeing them at all, it may be that you have firebird set too restrictive, and it rejected the cookies.
I believe there is some combination of server-side determination of what time you last viewed a thread, as well as cookie-based determination of what threads you have seen. I've never looked closely at that code because it has always worked for me...

Seems to be working fine again now. I'm guessing the clocks have been synced up again
