Ok, we all know of those films that are left out in the cold, unwatched, becuase people think they are "stupid" or "rubbish" Im here the fight the case for one of those movies.

Mad Max.

Now I know some of you haven't watched Mad Max. Now I don't know why this is. Maybe you don't like Mel Gibson, maybe you think it's just shit.

For those of you that haven't watched it, I'll fill you in. Mad Max is the film series that kicked off the 80's post-apocalyptic films. Its about a normal guy, Max, who works for a run down road patrol service that tries to keep law and order as the world falls apart. He angers a biker gang, and they fuck his whole life up, then he proceeds to hunt those bastards down and deliver some rough justice. Then he takes to the wastelands, to become a wonderer. along the way, he saves people, befrends a dog, and becomes a hero. Mad Max has everything you could want from a film. Awesome 20 minutes car chases, Saw off shotguns, Muscle cars, mental villains, and kick ass stunts. So go watch it, find a copy. Give it a chance. You know you want to.


But is there any other films that you feel are neglected for no good reason? Films that you insist on showing people? Well now is your chance to do so.

    Everyone loves Mad Max

    I've seen it probably a dozen times and made everyone I know who hasn't seen it watch it

    Also beyond thunderdome

    [edit] I don't think I've ever heard anyone say they didn't like Mad Max you could've picked so many better examples

    Also he doesn't go into the desert until Road Warrior. Mad Max was pretty much the last pieces of the world falling apart before everything with up in the nuke war.

    I started watching They Live last night but for some reason on demand only works past midnight here or some shit

    But anyway now I can't finish it and I was pretty interested in where that shit was going

    For some reason, it seems like every time ever that I turn on Mad Max on TV, it's like the last 30 minutes of the movie, and there's these long scenes with Mel Gibson just driving normally, and then the final confrontation with the dudes he doesn't like.

    The long driving scenes seem very boring, enough so that I never bothered to Netflix it.

    Um, I have definitely seen trailers for this; does Black JFK have the ridiculous Kennedy accent? Nothing is pleases me more than JFK played for humor (see; Clone High)
