USB Port Drivers for Toshiba XP laptop

I recently formatted my laptop and reinstalled XP. I am trying to reload my music files so I can sync my iPod, but my portable hard drive isn't being recognized. I'm guessing this is because I don't have drivers for my USB ports, as no device is recognized.

It's an M100-JG2 laptop. Where can I go about finding the USB port drivers so I can listen to my music again?

    Umm, did you install XP pre sp1? Because that's the only reason I can think of that USB ports wouldn't have drivers. Just update.
