I am from Seattle and for some reason I waited this long to decide I want to go to San Diego ComiCon on Saturday. One problem (actually two problems): I don't have tickets or a way to get there yet.
Does anyone have any ideas of the cheapest/best way to get tickets and get to San Diego without a car?
You'll be paying quite a bit to the scalpers to attend on Saturday. Your best best would be to pick up an "unregistered" ticket from craigslist. I saw several ads from the San Diego area advertising these tickets for ~$90. These tickets would be good for one day, Thursday-Sunday, if the ads are to be believed. I would jump on them extremely soon, though.
As for travel, I would go air, but that's cuz i wouldn't want to sit on a train or bus for a solid day getting down there from Seattle.
You will pay WAY too much money in airfare (200+) and for tickets (as people have said, scalpers are the only route now).
Unless you have hundreds of dollars to spend on one day of con, stay home, and plan for next year. By the time you get there, get your ticket, and get in, half the day is going to be gone.

Soooo you haven't bought your tickets to Comic Con yet? Well they're sold out; but I'm sure you can buy a pass for Saturday on Craigslist.
Problem is it will set you back $200 bucks.

But yeah, Comic-Con is VERY sold out. Be prepared to pay through the nose, if you can get in at all.

Best of luck to you.
