Ok I don't know if this is the proper place to post this (always a stupid way to begin a thread) but Google was no help. My roommate recently got a new computer and we are trying to play Warcraft III together through LAN or battle.net. We can connect to each others games but after a minute or so it drops the guy not hosting the game. Yes we have different CD keys and are using the same patch verision. We are using a wireless N network (Dlink router). Any suggestions to fix this problem? We can both play other games (TF2) together no problem. If you don't know a fix how about advise on a good RTS for comp stomping?
Well, you can turn off your fire walls and see if that helps. You can also get GG-Client or Hamachi and connect through there (This is what my roommate and I did, and it worked).

That happens even over LAN? On battle.net I can see that happening, but LAN it really shouldn't matter. Otherwise do as the above and forward 6112 to a computer and have that person host.
